GIOS Teamwear is the brand of team wear equipment’s that the C.A.OSASUNA MAGNA will wear from July 1st and for the next 3 seasons. Osasuna Magna has chosen GIOS Teamwear as the brand to be his Official Technical Supplier and to dress all the categories of the club.

The Tradebike magazine publishes the news where GIOS_Kiwi Atlántico is presented as the new name of the galician continental team.

The international bicycle brand GIOS, will be the main sponsor of the Team effective from the 2020 season.

Since now on GIOS_Kiwi atlántico will be the new name of the Galician cycling team that competes in the Continental UCI category.

GIOS has signed a sponsorship deal for the next 2 seasons thanks to which it will become the main sponsor of the Team together with the spanish brand KIWI Atlántico.

“For GIOS to be the main sponsor of this Team represents a significant step ahead as it will be the first time that our brand will give its name as first sponsor to a Continental UCI team. Our target for this coming season is to position the Team among the most internationally recognized Spanish cycling teams”,  says Luca Gios (Managing Director – GIOS International).

GIOS_Kiwi Atlántico will compete for the second year in a row in the Continental UCI category, after a successful 2019 season where it achieved the following results in the UCI Europa Tour of Cycling:

4th place in the General Classment of the Tour of Rhodes, Greece

An outstanding Vuelta Aragón where the leadership of the Mountain’s classment of Jose Manuel Gutierrez, “el Gallo”.

The Team is planning the year 2020 as the consolidation season in the Continental UCI category where they are scheduling to debut with an American Tour starting at the Vuelta a Táchira in Venezuela followed by another possible competition  in Colombia before heading to Europe to continue with the Team’s calendar over there. Additionally GIOS KIWI ATLANTICO is also planning an Asia/Pacific calendar with competitions in Japan and China to satisfy the demand of the Team’s sponsors.

During the 2020 season, the Team will also be reinforced with a pure sprinter that will be announced shortly and with Jose Manuel Gutierrez, Team’s leader and professor of young talents.

The Settanta model, a tribute to the 70th anniversary of the brand and the Aerolite model, flagship of GIOS, are the two most important GCN models in this video.

SEA OTTER EUROPE_ May 31th to June 2th

From May 31th to June 2th, 60,000 square meters of surface of the Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava-Girona Bike Show are ready to receive the visit of about 55,000 visitors.

It will also be the scene of races and unique events in the cycling world, because this festival attracts more and more figures from the international scene.

Three frenetic days of 100% cycling activity with proposals for all public, which will turn Girona and the Costa Brava into the European cycling capital.

The Sea Otter Classic is considered the major cycling festival worldwide with over 9.600 athletes participating, 72.500 fans visiting and all the most important brands of the cycling world exhibiting.

Last Tuesday, February the 12th took place the presentation of a new line of GIOS products: GIOS Teamwear.

This important launch for GIOS is part of the strategic plan of the brand for the coming years and includes the diversification of its business areas with the aim of consolidating the positioning of GIOS in the sports sector worldwide.

The new generation of GIOS, led by its Managing Director: Luca Gios, poses new challenges for the brand by expanding its business area within the sports sector.

In the presentation of the new GIOS TEAMWEAR collection, Luca  commented this release affirming that “GIOS is a worldwide recognized brand for its more than 70 years of history in the cycling world and GIOS bicycles are a reference in a world as demanding as the cycling one”.

“This positioning in the sports sector as a TOP brand that combines tradition and technology, allows us to launch this collection of GIOS sport garments, with the assurance that we are offering a new range of products but providing all the expertise of GIOS as well”.
